Arkansas Voter Registration Made Easier With LWVAR’s New Online Tool
Eligible Arkansas citizens now have a simpler way to complete and submit a voter registration application before the October 5, 2026 deadline.
The League of Women Voters of Arkansas has launched a new online voter registration tool at www.lwvar.org/register. The tool guides eligible voters through the Arkansas voter registration application from a phone, tablet, or computer. The League then prints the completed application, submits it to the correct county clerk, and tracks its progress.
In other words, you can complete the application online without needing your own printer, envelope, or stamp.
How does the LWVAR online voter registration tool work?
Arkansas voter registration is not completed entirely online. A county clerk must still receive and process a voter registration application before a person is officially registered.
The LWVAR tool makes that process easier by helping with every step:
1. Complete the voter registration application online
Visit www.lwvar.org/register or scan the LWVAR voter registration QR code. Enter the information needed for an Arkansas voter registration application. The tool will guide you through the process and create a completed form.
2. LWVAR prints the application
After you submit your information through the tool, the League of Women Voters of Arkansas prints your voter registration application. You do not need access to a printer.
3. LWVAR sends it to the correct county clerk
The League identifies the appropriate county clerk and mails the completed application for processing. The county clerk makes the official determination that you have been registered.
4. LWVAR tracks the application
LWVAR tracks applications submitted through the tool and checks for confirmation that the voter has been successfully added to the voter rolls.
5. The League helps you get vote ready
Once your registration is confirmed, the League follows up with trusted, nonpartisan voting information to help you prepare for the next election and cast your ballot with confidence. (optional opt-in)
When is the Arkansas voter registration deadline?
The voter registration deadline for the November 3, 2026 Arkansas general election is Monday, October 5, 2026.
Do not wait until the final day. Completing the application early gives the League and your county clerk more time to submit, process, and confirm your registration.
The October 5 deadline is also listed in the 2026 election calendar from the Arkansas Secretary of State.
Who should use the tool?
The LWVAR voter registration tool can help eligible Arkansas citizens who:
- Need to register to vote for the first time
- Have recently moved or changed addresses
- Need to update their name or other registration information
- Are unsure how to complete or submit an Arkansas voter registration application
If you are uncertain whether your registration is current, check your voter registration status before the deadline.
A new resource for voter registration volunteers
LWVAR has also created a Volunteer Quick Guide to help League chapters, volunteers, and community partners confidently use the tool during voter registration outreach.
At an event, volunteers can simply invite an eligible voter to scan the QR code or go to www.lwvar.org/register and say:
“Scan this QR code, and you can fill out your voter registration application right from your phone. The League will print it, submit it to your county clerk, track it to make sure your registration is processed, and follow up with nonpartisan voting information before the next election.”
Chapters and volunteers can share the link or QR code at:
- Voter registration drives
- Community meetings
- Festivals and public events
- College and university events
- Libraries and community centers
- Tabling opportunities
- Neighborhood gatherings
- Social media pages
- Email newsletters
LWVAR has also provided chapters with customizable social media graphics and ready-to-use captions to make ongoing promotion easier.
