Your answer might be about your family, public schools, your neighborhood, equal rights, local services, or the belief that every person deserves a voice. There is no perfect answer. The point is to name your reason and share it honestly. Then ask the people in your Civic Circle: What issue or concern matters most to you in this election? Listen without debating. You are learning what matters to the people you know.

Your League action is to join the statewide member meeting this Thursday (September 24th). We’ll be discussing our progress so far, sharing opportunities to get involved in October, and connecting with other members from across Arkansas. Register for the meeting here. After you complete both actions, log them in the Civic Action Tracker. Share your “I vote because…” statement publicly if you are comfortable.
